The Suicide Squad Trailer Hits – With A Bang And Promise Of Deaths

Check out The Suicide Squad trailer below. The latest DCEU movie comes from James Gunn of Marvel fame. Whether this is a sequel, or a reboot from Suicide Squad is still not known, but who cares? The Suicide Squad looks like a hell of a lot of fun. So here is our first real taste of what to expect come August.

This looks fun, something I found sadly lacking in the theatrical release of Suicide Squad. At least this time WB didn’t have to resort to using Bohemian Rhapsody to draw us in. The movie follows a familiar formula, but the in’s and out’s of it all are well hidden here. We know a group of criminals is given the chance to knock 10 years off their sentence by going on a Suicide Mission. If they run, they get killed, if they stay, they probably get killed anyway.

James Gunn has promised that there will be plenty of deaths in The Suicide Squad. With such an ensemble cast, killing half of them off at least must be the only way to finish the movie. You just know that some of those deaths are going to be hilarious and some are going to be emotional. Who dies and who survives is completely up in the air after watching this The Suicide Squad trailer, and that’s exactly what we fans want.

As we’d expect from Gunn, the signature humor seems firmly entrenched in this movie. I’ll be watching in August, whether in theatres or on Streaming.
