The Trailer For Steven Spielberg’s Amazing Stories Reboot

If you grew up in the 80s, you probably remember a Twilight Zone type show called Amazing Stories. While I can’t remember the plot to a single episode, I do recall enjoying the series. Produced by Steven Spielberg, the show presented fascinating tales of science fiction, horror, and fantasy told through an anthology format.

The reboot will have a 10-episode first season, and just like the original, will feature visionary writers and directors including Mark Mylod (Game of Thrones), Chris Long (The Americans), and Susanna Fogel, (Play By Play). The series will star, Josh Holloway (Lost), Sasha Alexander (Shameless), Dylan O’Brien and Victoria Pedretti.

I will definitely be checking this out when the time comes. It goes without saying I am a fan of Spielberg, mix that in with some good old 80s nostalgia and some spectacular stories, I see no reason not to tune in. However, this news has brought to my attention that another Spielberg reboot was on the way, Animaniacs. I haven’t heard anything on it lately, but I believe it was supposed to debut this year. Amazing Stories should be more than enough to hold us over.
