The Trailer For Steven Soderbergh’s Unsettling Film Unsane Hits

The official trailer for director Steven Soderbergh’s Unsane was released today. In the very chilling a tension-filled preview, we witness the struggles of a woman who believes her stalker has followed her to a new city. She sees the man everywhere she goes, at work, on the street, and unknowingly, and voluntarily, commits herself to an asylum. And as you might expect, things get worse from there, as the woman slowly slips into a world where she can no longer tell what is real and what is not.

This film is comprised of one of my worst fears, being wrongly committed against my will. I won’t even go in such places for fear of not getting back out.

One of my favorite things about being an LRM contributor is coming across unexpected gems like this that I had that I would’ve had no knowledge about. Even though the trailer severely freaked me out. I enjoy psychological thrillers such as this and I will certainly be watching it.

Unsane stars Claire Foy and Juno Temple, the film is directed by Steve Soderbergh and was written by Jonathan Bernstein and James Greer. The film is set for release March 23.
