It was no small task reviving a show on the level of The Twilight Zone. The show was ahead of its time perhaps more than any other show to ever grace the small screen. Bringing such a series into the modern world provided opportunities for both success and criticism.

The reboot headed by the multitalented Oscar-winner Jordan Peele had a successful first season. Thanks to CBS All Access there are images from the upcoming second season of The Twilight Zone available for your viewing pleasure. You can check out the images here.

While I had little doubt he would deliver a stellar reboot, I was impressed by Peele’s efforts. He brought viewers back to the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition.

Below you can check out some planned episodes for the upcoming season.

“Downtime” – Directed by JD Dillard and written by Jordan Peele, the episode will star Baccarin, Colman Domingo (If Beale Street Could Talk, Fear the Walking Dead) and Tony Hale (Veep, Toy Story 4).

The Who of You” – Directed by Peter Atencio and written by Win Rosenfeld, the episode will star Ethan Embry (Grace and Frankie, Blindspotting), Daniel Sunjata (Graceland, Rescue Me) and Porter.

“A Human Face” – Directed by Christina Choe and written by Alex Rubens, the episode will star Jenna Elfman (Fear the Walking Dead, Dharma & Greg), Meloni and Tavi Gevinson (Person to Person, Enough Said).

“Among The Untrodden” – Directed by Tayarisha Poe and written by Heather Anne Campbell, the episode will introduce Abbie Hern and Sophia Macy.

“Meet in the Middle” – Directed by Mathias Herndl and written by Emily C. Chang and Sara Amini, the episode will star Jimmi Simpson (Westworld, Black Mirror: USS Callister) and Gillian Jacobs (Community, Love).”
