The Unbearable Weight Of Massive Talent Adds Neil Patrick-Harris

In case some of you are unaware, something truly special is headed our way. And that something is The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent. The maniacally magical meta-movie that might metaphorically mash your mind to mincemeat.

The movie will star Hollywood legend (and a legend he be) Nicolas Cage. Who will take on the role of, Nicolas Cage. Yes, Cage will play a fictionalized version of himself. One who finds himself entangled in a wild story involving the fictionalized Cage’s desire to land a role in a new Quentin Tarantino film, the birthday party of a Mexican billionaire, drug cartels, and the CIA.

If that wasn’t enough the always welcome Neil Patrick-Harris has joined the cast and will play the agent of the in-movie Cage. This project just keeps getting better and better.

Also appearing in The Unbearable Weight Of Massive Talent is Tiffany Haddish, and The Red Viper of Mandalore himself, Pedro Pascal. Personally, the obscure nature of the film has had me locked in since I first learned of the film. Kudos to co-writers Kevin Etten. and Tom Gormican (who will also direct) for coming up with the concept for this magnificent meta monstrosity. And to Cage for coming aboard. The film will pay homage to some Cage classics including Gone in 60 Seconds and Face/Off.

The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent is set for a 2021 release.
