The Wheel Of Time | Round Table Discussion With Josha Stradowski And Marcus Rutherford

The Wheel of Time

Lovers of fantasy franchises rejoice! Today is the premiere of The Wheel of Time on Prime Video. The characters that many fans have followed in the books can now be enjoyed in this live-action series. This particular franchise is one of the most popular and enduring fantasy series of all time. Evidence of that is the more than 90 million books sold. The novels are written by Robert Jordan.

The Wheel of Time is set in a sprawling, epic world where magic exists. But only certain women are allowed to access it. The story follows Moiraine, played by Rosamund Pike. She is a member of the incredibly powerful all-female organization called the Aes Sedai. We find her arriving to the small town of Two Rivers. From there she leaves on a dangerous, world-spanning journey with five young men and women. One of those five is prophesied to be the Dragon Reborn, who may save or destroy humanity.

They are Josha Stradowski, and Marcus Rutherford. Stradowski plays Rand al’Thor and Rutherford plays Perrin Aybara. During the discussion, they tell us a little bit about their characters. They share with us what they wanted to bring to the beloved characters on the small screen. Along with that they also share if they would like to continue to play the character’s long-term.
