One of the most hyped video game sequels ever, The Witcher 4 game enters full production say developers CD Projekt Red. The next instalment of The Witcher series is one fans have known was coming for a while officially. However, development has now scaled up big time at the studio. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was one of the best video games ever made, period. It’s not even a genre I tend to get into often and yet the story, attention to detail and gameplay were sublime.
“I’m pleased to announce that several weeks ago it moved on to full-scale production,” chief financial officer Piotr Nielubowicz said of the game as part of the company’s latest quarterly earnings results.
“Of all our projects, this one is currently the most far along, and we’re starting the most intensive phase of development. I wish to thank the team and I’m keeping my fingers crossed for further progress.”

We know from voice actor Doug Cockle that Geralt will return in The Witcher 4. However, he also indicates the game will not star Geralt this time and he’ll be a non-playable character. Who will will play as remains a mystery for now? However, we do know The Witcher 4 is planned as the first in a new trilogy of Witcher games from CDPR.
