San Diego Comic-Con is, of course, one of the biggest events known to pop culture. Every year, it serves as one of the main hubs of geek news and announcements, with the industries ranging from comics to film and television. This year, one of the big properties set to hit Hall H is none other than The Witcher, which is based on the novel series by Andrzej Sapkowski.

Henry Cavill is set to play the monster hunter Geralt of Rivia, and while we’ve seen a few shots of him in all his handsome glory, we have yet to see his trusty steed, Roach. Well, Cavill took to Instagram to show off the gorgeous equine companion, along with a little bit about the character.

This also confirms Henry Cavill’s appearance at Comic-Con. Admittedly, this is something we all expected, but he was suspiciously absent from all our press material regarding the panel and press room. Glad to see Netflix isn’t missing an opportunity here.
