If you’re itching for another thriller in the vein of The Girl on the Train or Gone Girl, or apparently any other book adaptation with the world “girl” in it, then you need look no further than The Woman in the Window. Directed by Atonement’s Joe Wright, the film follows Amy Adams’ character, whose anxiety is a pivot point for the entire plot of the film.

The film comes from 20th Century Fox, and is actually the last film that will hit from the shuttering Fox 2000 banner. Also quite interesting is that this movie underwent reshoots that retooled the ending after test screenings left audiences confused. While we can’t tell from a trailer how that fares, it does at least get me excited for the impending mystery.
