Dave Green To Direct Wile E. Coyote Film, Coyote vs. Acme

The poor guy has been on the same mission for years, doomed to fail for our entertainment. I am of course talking about the persistent, yet unsuccessful Wile E. Coyote. He has pursued the one known as the Roadrunner for decades with no success. Wile E. Coyote will now jump to the big screen in a live-action/animated film titled, Coyote vs. Acme.

I remember watching his misadventures when I was younger, and not knowing better, hoping THIS was the one where he finally catches the Roadrunner, alas, it never happened, but the two are still one of the all-time great classic cartoon duos.

The film will follow Wile E. Coyote as he sues the weapons company Acme, his only supplier, for years of failing products. I think this is a really cool idea and liken it to the AdultSwim Harvey Birdman series.

Coyote vs. Acme will be produced by producers include Chris McKay along with siblings Jon and Josh Silberman. The film has been gestating for a while now but has found it’s director in Dave Green, though the film is still searching for a writer.
