As most of you know already know, Ewan the man who made Obi-Wan Kenobi an absolute f***ing delight in the Star Wars prequel films will reprise his role as the character for an upcoming series on Disney+. This is one of the more anticipated series coming to the Mouse’s streaming platform.
While we don’t know much about the series yet a nice bit of information has come about. Production Weekly is reporting that the working title for the series is PILGRIM. This may be a hint at the kind of tone the series will have, with Obi-Wan living what will likely be a lonely life on Tattooine, watching over a young Luke Skywalker.

For me, McGregor and John Williams score are the best things about the prequels, even haters admit those aspects were well done, so having the young Kenobi return, I’m am all in on this series. Who knows what old friends we may see show up, as well as characters we know from other media that Kenobi is yet to meet.
So many possibilities and so much potential with this show, we may even get a glimpse of a young Luke Skywalker at some point, which is what we got on a great episode of Star Wars Rebels. I’ve also heard that a certain Gungan representative also may make an appearance, and that’s from MakingStarWars, so it’s credible, it’s not like Mike Zeroh reported it.
