Thor: Love and Thunder is currently in production, yet the cast keeps growing.
The news comes from Deadline, following star Chris Hemsworth, director Taika Waititi, and Jeff Goldblum being spotted in Russell Crowe’s private box at an Australian Rugby match . At first, no one thought much of it. The original buzz was that Jeff Goldblum was in the picture, which may signify the return of The Grandmaster in Thor: Love and Thunder. After all, if you’re a movie star in Australia, you probably hang out with movie stars who live in Australia.

Deadline wasn’t convinced it was a coincidence and reached out to insiders who confirmed Russell Crowe is in the film. His role was supposed to be a surprise. I totally expect it to be similar to Matt Damon’s cameo in Thor: Ragnarok.
The insiders also told Deadline the film is full of surprises like the casting of Russell Crowe.
Crowe joins an Avengers worthy cast in Thor: Love and Thunder. The film already features Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, Natalie Portman, Jaimie Alexander, Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillen, Christian Bale, Matt Damon, Luke Hemsworth, Mellissa McCarthy, Taika Waititi, Sam Neill, and more.
