Thunderbolts Could Lose Another Cast Member And Fantastic Four Eyeing March Production | Barside Buzz

At CinemaCon this last week Kevin Feige confirmed that the title of Thunderbolts is now Thunderbolts* though never explained why.

Some new Barside Buzz to share, including Thunderbolts could lose another actor and Fantastic Four eyeing March for production, plus more. The information today comes form the latest edition of The Hot Mic with John Rocha and Jeff Sneider. Most of this just kinda backs up what you’ve already heard previously. However there are a few new details also.

We will start with Thunderbolts. Sneider says though he can’t repeat what he was told, Steven Yeun left the project due to “a personal scheduling problem”. Which, to be fair, is kinda what Yeun himself indicated. However, Sneider’s co-host John Rocha also said he’s heard a similar issue may have arisen for Ayo Edebiri. Rocha claims sources told him Edebiri may pull out of the movie. They say Thunderbolts is looking to start production in March/April.

Sneider has also said that getting Thunderbolts and Fantastic Four “up-and-running”, are among the top priorities at Marvel Studios. Fantastic Four they are looking to start shooting this March. Other priorities for Marvel right now are searching for directors for Spider-Man 4 and the Avengers: Secret Wars films. As for other projects he says “righting the ship” on Captain America: Brave New World (currently getting reshoots) is another top priority. As is trying to get Blade up and running.

As said, not a huge amount of new detail. However, perhaps some back up for other rumors we have shared previously? As for Edibiri, it would be sad to lose another actor. Yet, this is what happens when a movie is delayed by over a year, people agree other jobs. It happens in life. Still, it’s only a rumor for now, so let’s wait and see what happens.

The rest just adds to what we already know. Or, shall I instead say, what is being rumored from other sources.

What do you think of this latest Barside Buzz that Thunderbolts could lose another actor and Fantastic Four eyeing March for production? Thoughts below as always.
