According to The GWW a Thunderbolts movie rumored to film in 2023! However if you follow that link, you will come to an empty page currently. The story was published yesterday by the outlet and has since been covered by others as I am doing here. However the link to the page from The GWW themselves no longer shows any information. It could be nothing, maybe the page just crashed by getting a lot of traffic? Or, the outlet may have deleted the piece given new information that came to light? Until we get some clarification or the article gets fixed I cannot say for certain either way.

There were no real details about the movie itself, other than it was planned to begin shooting in 2023. Of course a Thunderbolts movie won’t be much of a surprise to most fans. The MCU has totally been setting this up since the end of Endgame. At this point it simply remained to be seen whether this would be Thunderbolts or Dark Avengers?

Both teams kinda have a similar feel, but are set up quite differently. Just to list all the possible candidates for either a Dark Avengers or Thunderbolts team. We have Yelena, Taskmaster Abomination, John Walker, Zemo, Mordo, and potentially some others on the way. I’m not saying those would be in either team, but they are possibilities. The one name I’d be confident of is Daniel Bruhl’s Zemo. Zemo would be the perfect leader of this team, or at least a member. We all know we will see Zemo again, so why not?

There were some other projects mentioned in this report from the outlet. Specifically they said Fantastic Four (duh) and Nova movies along with an Okoye and Shang-Chi spin-off shows would be beginning to film in 2023 also. I guess we will find out whether these rumors are legit or not in time. Until then, as always, just keep a sprinkle of salt handy.
