Lots of exciting news from the world of Marvel today and we continue along that line with Tom Holland posting a video of him receiveing the script for Spider-Man 3 on an iPad. The highly-anticipated film began shooting this week in New York City. You can check out the tweet below.

What’s going on with Spider-Man 3 is of course not known. With the addition of Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange many speculate that Marvel is going to give fans at least a taste of the multiverse. While nothing is confirmed this seems likely since Marvel will, at some point, have to explain the absence of the Fantastic Four and the X-Men. And the multiple dimensions seems like a great way to do so.

The future of the MCU looks bright, and exciting. Marvel really found the perfect actor for Spider-Man this time around. I feel Holland is the definitive web-slinger if for no other reason than he is allowed to play in the same sandbox with his formerly estranged Marvel family.

There was a tie not long ago when we fan weren’t even sure we would get another Marvel Spider-Man as both Sony and Marvel were unable to reach a deal. They of course eventually did agree on terms.
