TRAILER: Ben Affleck, Oscar Isaac, Pedro Pascal Try To Steal From A Drug Cartel In New Netflix Film Triple Frontier

If you thought Poe Dameron was out of control in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, wait ’til you get a load of what he’s up to in Triple Frontier. This new Netflix film Triple Frontier features a great male cast that includes heavy hitters like the previously-mentioned Oscar Isaac, Ben Affleck, Charlie Hunnam, Garrett Hedlund, and Pedro Pascal — and man does it look pretty damn intense.

These men play a band of war vets struggling to make ends meet. then, one of their brothers in arms (played by Isaac) comes to them with a prospect — stealing from a drug lord. However, once the job is done, it’s clear that things are just a tad more complicated than originally thought, bringing god knows how many people after them.

It’s always interesting to see movies like this hit the streaming giant. Just five to 10 years ago, these are the kinds of movies that would have been right at home in theaters, but here they are now heading straight to streaming (and March 13, no less). It looks like a film that’s just as high a quality as any modern taut thriller, without the need to head out into theaters.
