All spies need a good disguise. Sure they may dress amazingly on film and TV, and they’re packed to the brim with high-tech gadgets that make their job a breeze, but if they were actually running around like that, they’d probably get discovered all too quickly. Luckily, Walter Beckett has the ultimate solution in the upcoming animated film Spies in Disguise.

In it, Will Smith plays super spy Lance Sterling, and in order to help him stay undercover, he is turned into a pigeon. Yeah, it’s a stupid premise seemingly right at home with your old-school run-of-the-mill Rob Schneider film from the days of yore, but given the hilarious performances of actors Tom Holland and Smith, it’s hard not to chuckle.

Below is the official synopsis for Spies in Disguise:

“Super spy Lance Sterling (Will Smith) and scientist Walter Beckett (Tom Holland) are almost exact opposites. Lance is smooth, suave and debonair. Walter is… not. But what Walter lacks in social skills he makes up for in smarts and invention, creating the awesome gadgets Lance uses on his epic missions. But when events take an unexpected turn, Walter and Lance suddenly have to rely on each other in a whole new way. And if this odd couple can’t learn to work as a team, the whole world is in peril. SPIES IN DISGUISE is an animated comedy set in the high-octane globe-trotting world of international espionage.”
