Two New Dates Announced For MCU Phase 6 Post-SDCC

A new Disney slate shows delays to Marvel's Secret Wars, Fantastic Four, Blade and Deadpool 3. Plus, we have a rumored date for Spider-Man 4.

Post-SDCC, surprisingly two more dates announced for MCU Phase 6. As you can see from the image above, we got the full slate for Phase 5 and a partial slate for Phase 6 with a lot of unnamed projects. However as reported by ComicBook, Marvel has since announced two more specific dates.

An untitled film on February 14, 2025, and an untitled film on July 25, 2025 were added to what you see above. These are not extra projects, but would presumably just be solid dates for two of the projects you can see above. The early ’25, and one of the Spring ’25 projects.

An untitled project begins Phase 6 in Fall of ’24. This is followed by Fantastic Four on November 8th. We then get two more unnamed projects to close out a busy Winter of 2024. One project in early ’25 (probably Feb 14th) is followed by another two projects due before Avengers: The Kang Dynasty on May 2nd. One of those will be the July 25th date.

After that there are two as yet undated projects in the Summer before we get Avengers: Secret Wars on November 7th.

One of the untitled projects above is likely to be Armor Wars. Conspicuous by its absence at SDCC head writer Yassir Lester took to Instagram to point out the show is still coming. As for what else could be coming it’s hard to say. However most fans anticipate a Shang-Chi sequel will fill one of those slots at least. Marvel trademarked several names prior to SDCC including all the new tiles seen above. One we heard nothing about at the con was Shang-Chi and the Wreckage of Time.

However there were also many other trademarked names not heard about. Avengers Eternity Wars, Captain America: Red White and Black, Celestials: End of Time, Nomad, Black Knight: Origins and Midnight Sons. Most fans are of the option that not all of these titles are for live-action projects. Some could be video games, animated series, or comic books. For example it seems highly unlikely Avengers Eternity Wars is a live-action show or movie. However some of them, I think, will fill in the gaps we have in the image above.

What do you think as two new dates announced for MCU Phase 6 post-SDCC? Anyone else wonder why they didn’t just put the dates on the graphic to begin with? Which, if any of the trademarked names I mentioned do you think will be in this Phase? As always, leave any thoughts below.
