Two New Incredibles 2 Clips Hit!

Incredibles 2 is less than 10 days away from hitting, and from what critics are saying, this is going to be another fun and engaging ride with the Parr family. Pixar has sent us a couple new clips for the film, and they really give us an idea of the two different aspects of the film we’re to expect.

The first, of course, are the action set pieces, which we get to see some of with the Underminer fight scene.

As with the first film, the battles are character-centric, making them a lot of fun to watch. However, perhaps the biggest takeaway here is just how much technology has evolved since that first film. Sure, the aesthetic of the film may be similar to the first, but it’s very clear how much better it all looks from a visual standpoint. The animation is much more dynamic and less hollow feeling than the first.

Next up is another clip involving Jack-Jack.

Sure, fight scenes are all well and good, but part of what makes these films great is the at-home stuff, and how everything’s made more difficult thanks to their superpowers. This clip shows Bob trying his best to babysit Jack-Jack, only for the baby’s powers to add that extra layer of complication to it all.

Below is the official synopsis for Incredibles 2:

“In Incredibles 2, Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is called on to lead a campaign to bring Supers back, while Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) navigates the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell), Dash (voice of Huck Milner) and baby Jack-Jack—whose super powers are about to be discovered. Their mission is derailed, however, when a new villain emerges with a brilliant and dangerous plot that threatens everything. But the Parrs don’t shy away from a challenge, especially with Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) by their side. That’s what makes this family so Incredible.”
