I bet you forgot Sony had even announced a Men In Black spinoff. I know I did, and I wrote the original story covering that here at LRM!

First, a refresher. Men In Black Untitled was originally fast-tracked from a script by Matt Hollowat and Art Marcum (Iron Man, Transformers: The Last Knight). It has been described as a more worldwide adventure, with the new agents introduced chasing aliens across the globe, not just the East Coast of the United States.

Originally announced for a May 17, 2019 release date, the film was been pushed back to June 14, 2019. John Wick: Chapter Three already occupies the May 17 release date, though the move pits Men In Black Untitled against the Shaft remake.

Such release date shifts are incredibly common this far out from a movie’s release, whereas the New Mutants and Deadpool moves made last week were far more shocking, as New Mutants was just two months from release and Deadpool moved to a seemingly more dangerous weekend.

Are you interested in this Men In Black spinoff or are you over the franchise? Which would you rather see on June 14, 2019, MIB or Shaft? Let us know in the comment section below!

Not interested unless it’s 23 Jump Street.

The Jump Street sequel was very weak sauce. No need to follow down that road.

It wasn’t that bad, not as good as the first but still maybe 10-15% worse (which is still a damn good comedy).

Jump Street sequel was just as good. That part where Channing laughs because Jonah banged Ice Cubes daughter was hilarious.
I guess we have different sense of humor.

        • Lenin1959

          Most likely.

MIB yes! But no 23 Jump Shit cross shit!

    • Kindofabigdeal

Funny, that is the only thing that would have brought me back to the franchise. Although part 3 was inspired.

      • Ada

        Let keep these 2 separated!

  • WTFITBS

Kevin Hart and The Rock for the new MIB spinoff please….

    • Kindofabigdeal

      Nice Try Kevin Hart’s agent.

Why can’t we have a story where the new leader of MIB has a strict policy on immigration and bans certain planets from entry. We can follow an alien from one of those war torn planets as he tries to sneak into the planet.
