Valentina Latyna takes a break from voiceover to join the adventure of the latest live-action, Dora and the Search for Sol Dorado. Latyna was the perfect candidate to play Diegos’ mom in the film that also takes us through the forests of her native Colombia.
The Synopsis
In this brand new live-action family movie, Dora (Samantha Lorraine, “You Are So Invited to My Mitzvah”), Giego (Jacob Rodriguez, “Attaway General”) and their new friends Naiya (Mariana Garzón Toro) and Sonny (Acston Luca Porto), trek through perilous dangers of The Amazonian jungle in search of the ancient treasure of Sol Dorado. To keep this powerful treasure out of enemy hands.

The actress is known for her work in the world of dubbing. For some of the classics like the classic, The Bold & The Beautiful to some of the recent hit television series like Netflix Griselda, Paramount+ Tulsa King and Peacock’s Poker Face. Latyna’s work has been well recognized and today she holds several nominations along with two Society of Voice Arts and Science Awards. Daughter Knows Best and Enfrascada are two of her upcoming projects.

I was connected with Valentina Latyna last week to talk about her participation in the new Dora adventure, Dora and the Search for Sol Dorado. She expressed her happiness for getting to film in her native Colombia. While getting to spend time with her family and learn of another part of her country. Latyna also discussed her early stages of her career and getting to do voice over and more!
