Venom: Let There Be Carnage NOT Delayed Further According To New Report

Venom: Let There Be Carnage Runtime Is Only 90-Minutes

According to a new report from Variety, Venom: Let There be Carnage NOT delayed further! Yesterday we ran a story originated from Vulture, which said that the Venom sequel was being delayed again until January. That would also have meant that Morbius was being delayed as well. The outlet said the information came from sources at Sony. Feel free to check that on the related link below.

However since that report was published Variety have been told by their sources at Sony that Venom: Let There be Carnage not delayed further after all.

This story has been updated to reflect that “Venom: Let There Be Carnage” will not be moving from its October release date, per a studio insider.

Now I know this can come across as a battle of sources. However, until we hear otherwise I think the safest best is Variety for now. As a trade, Variety are known to have connections with all the studios. Though, to be fair, it’s not as though Vulture doesn’t have connections of their own?

I guess for now we shall have to wait and see what Sony decodes to do? Venom: Let There be Carnage is currently scheduled for  October 15th. Until Sony says different, I guess that’s the date we will all have to sleep outside the theatre opening night for a chance to see what is sure to be the spiritual successor to Avengers: Endgame and The Dark Knight. Or maybe I will just skip this one no matter when they decide to unleash it upon us?

In summary, some Sony insiders said Venom 2 would be delayed till January. Then, some potential higher up Sony insiders said it wasn’t.  Ultimately, for now Venom: Let There be Carnage is still scheduled for October 15th. Leave any thoughts you have below.
