Every conspiracy tale starts with a mysterious murder. The twists and turns make it an engaging storyline, as with Furia starring Pål Sverre Hagen and Ine Marie Wilmann.

The multi-language series starts in a small mountain community in Norway, but it became a much grander situation in Germany that could shake up the political atmosphere.

Here is the official synopsis:

A shocking killing in an idyllic Norwegian town leads police investigator Asgeir (Pål Sverre Hagen) to undercover cop Ragna (Ine Marie Wilmann) as she infiltrates a nationalistic group in this dark, high-stakes thriller.

LRM Online’s Gig Patta spoke with the leads Pål Sverre Hagen and Ine Marie Wilmann on the series, right-wing groups, international productions, and languages.

Pål Sverre Hagen is a Norwegian stage actor and screen actor best known internationally for playing Thor Heyerdahl in the Oscar and Golden Globe-nominated film Kon-Tiki. In 2004, he made his film debut in Cry in the Woods (Den som frykter ulven). He appeared in many films, including Troubled Water (De usynlige), which earned him the Kanonprisen for best performance by an actor in a leading role in 2008. His other film credits included Cold Lunch (Lonsi), House of Fools (De gales hus), Max Manus, and The Storm in My Heart (Jernanger). In 2014, he starred alongside Stellan Skarsgård and Bruno Ganze in In Order of Disappearance. He was nominated for the Amanda Award and won best actor in the Gut Buster Comedy feature category at Austin Fantastic Fest for the role.

Ine Marie Wilmann is a Norwegian actress best known for challenging and complex roles, including Charlotte in Homesick, the biopic Sonja: The White Swan as the figure skater-turned-actress, and as Celine in the financial drama Exit series.
