Visitors Are Stealing Items From Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge

Galaxy's Edge

Visitors to Disneyland’s Galaxy’s Edge may have taken being hired by Hondo Ohnaka for a smuggling mission too seriously, as it’s being reported that drink coasters, menus, sporks, are being taken. Not only that, but many of the items are appearing on Ebay for purchase.

The sporks appear to be the main item being taken, in fact the park has stopped giving them out to guests. According to CinemaBlend,  the sporks’ design is something different and could be considered alien, which explains their desirability. You can check out a tweet below from a former Disney employee who spoke with a resident of Batuu (which is what Galaxy’s Edge cast members are called) who conveyed the severeity of the problem.

If those numbers are accurate, that is a pretty big problem. Perhaps Disney should start adding the cost of the sporks into the meals, or at least put the offer out there. I understand it to an extent and I would imagine most poeple don’t think it’s a big deal, the problem is everyone who does that likely thinks they’re the only ones. Even less acceptable is selling the items on Ebay.
