WandaVision is one groovy show. I’m telling you, its far out, man.
Seriously. if you are yet to experience the latest Disney+ hit series, you’re are missing out. The show has hit its mid-season point and with each episode, more of this wonderful mystery is being revealed.
The series started as a delightful homage to the classic sitcoms of the 1950s and 60s. Wonderfully done with just the right amoun of campyness. It’s now progressed to a Black Mirror type mindf**k in the best possible way. Marvel has released a new trailer for the rest of the season. And it appears as if WandaVision has no intentions of slowing down. You can check out the trailer below.

In addition to the enticing new trailer the series also has a new poster which you can check out below.
It seeems someone at Marvel really enjoyed the Supernatural episode, “Changing Channels.” While there are similarities between WandaVision and that wonderful meta story involving the Winchesters. It appears as if the Marvel version is going to take a much darker turn, which is kind of weird considering the nature of Supernatural (though that was a relatively light-hearted episode).
I wonder how the initial pitch for WandaVision went. and how the concept even acme about. While I am enjoying the shows progress, I would have been perfectly fine had the series stayed a tribute to classic sitcoms. It’s pretty safe to say none of us thought nostalgia would play a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. At least not for some time.
No, I’m not that old, but when I was really young my house didn’t have cable so reruns of sitcoms were often the best option to watch. Even ones thrity years old. Don’t worry, I wasn’t stuck with limited channels for too long. As the famiy soon acquired one of those large outside satellites.
