WandaVision head writer Jac Schaeffer has signed a new overall TV deal with Marvel Studios and 20th Television. According to Variety,
Under the deal, Schaeffer will develop projects for both Marvel Studios and 20th Television. Projects for Marvel Studios will go to Disney Plus, while projects for 20th TV will be developed for all platforms.
So far there is no hints of where Schaeffer could be heading next. Though, that’s pretty much what you expect from Marvel studios at least.
Schaeffer created WandaVision and served as head writer and exec producer on Marvel Studios first streaming show. It would be fair to say that WandaVision was a hit amongst the fan base, who fell in love with Wanda and Vision all over again. That’s despite WandaVision presenting Wanda in a morally compromising situation. But ultimately the show was just good fun, and overall I enjoyed it more than The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. Though, I am hoping that Loki will be the best of the three so far, just as far as my taste goes.

It will be interesting to see what Schaeffer can cook up for both the MCU and whatever else is in her imagination. I’d definitely love to see Schaeffer get to work with Wanda and Vision again. That being said, I feel like a WandaVision Season 2 is simply unworkable.
