According to actress Kat Dennings who plays the character, Darcy Lewis is not in Thor: Love and Thunder. Dennings is currently portraying Dr. Lewis within WandaVision where her astrophysics expertise has already been useful to SWORD. Dennings recently had a chat with IGN and she was asked whether she was going to be in Thor: Love and Thunder. The fourth Thor movie is currently shooting in Australia and it was a fair question given that the Darcy Lewis character first appeared in Thor.
It seems as per the title that Dennings and therefore Darcy will not be in Thor: Love and Thunder.
“Well, I have not gotten a call so I kind of doubt it since they’re shooting it right now so probably not,” Dennings told IGN, adding, “but anything Marvel ever asks of me the answer’s always yes.”

Darcy of course is a friend of Jane Foster and we know Jane has quite a large role in Thor: Love and Thunder. Saying that, I kinda like that Darcy is off doing her own thing and becoming her own character now. No longer an intern for Foster, Lewis is an expert in her own right. I don’t think there is any need to have Darcy appear just because Foster does. Saying that, since Dennings said she will always say yes to Marvel, who knows if a little cameo could happen?
Dennings could just be flay out lying as some actors are told to do. However, I don’t think so in this case. As Dennings says, Thor‘s already shooting in Australia and if she was in it, she’d likely be there too. What do you Marvel fans think?
