Wanna Know Where Mysterio Appeared Early In Spider-Man: Far From Home And You Probably Didn’t Catch It? [SPOILERS]

Kraven And Mysterio Were In Spider-Man 4 Says Sam Raimi

It goes without saying given the title warning, but here lies SPOILERS for Spider-Man: Far From Home, so check this very interested story out AFTER you have seen the movie.

Still with me? Then you must have already seen Spider-Man: Far From Home and you know fine well that Mysterio’s entire plan was a long con to get his hands on E.D.I.T.H, Tony Starks global defence network. In the movie, the audience finds this out before Peter Parker, though only a little earlier. However, we now though there were many clues to the twists and turns this movie took and one very interesting clue has come to light.

Jake Gyllenhaal who plays Quentin Beck in the movie took to Instagram to declare that his favourite look from the movie was him wearing a Hawaiian shirt, with the caption #wheresbeck. Check it out.

So of course, eagle eyed fans set about finding Beck in his favourite look and sure enough someone found it. In the scene in Venice, before Hydro Man shows up, when Peter is about to buy the gift for MJ, Beck can be seen walking past Peter in the aforementioned Hawaiian shirt. It’s a cool little Easter egg that shows how Beck was watching Parker, because of course Parker was the ultimate target of all their nefarious plans. Check out the Twitter post from UpToTASK showing the scene in question.

That’s a pretty cool little nod for second time viewers, and when added to other little clues like the real identity of Fury and Hill being teased early, really helps the film to have that re-watchable factor. I personally loved the twists and turns of Spider-Man: Far From Home and I was impressed with how they took the same basic concept of Mysterio from the comics and turned it into something that worked seamlessly within the MCU, and linked us back to Iron Man, Civil War and Captain Marvel.
