The buzz for Avengers: Endgame is pretty high right now and recently the entire cast did a press conference where they even had empty seats of the fallen Avengers. Whilst there was something noteworthy said by most of the cast there was one moment which seems to have caught fans attention and that was during the questioning of Captain America himself Chris Evans.
Evans has been long rumored to meet his fate in Endgame and finish playing Captain America. For anyone who follows movies it just seems like the arc thematically that best suits an end to his character. But, it is just rumor and guesswork right now so who knows what will happen when the movie hits in just a few weeks?

However, in the press conference, Evans seemed set to discuss the ending of Captain America’s arc before he was interrupted by Joe Russo after looking to him for approval of what he was about to say. Here is the transcription I made from the social media post by ComicBook.com‘s Brandon Davis below.
“It’s the completion of the arc, that’s safe to say, right?” Evans said, looking to Joe Russo for approval. “This movie does provide kind of an ending to a lot of –” and Evans was cut off at this point. Evans then continued “There is a 22-film tapestry, you know, he’s been through so much.”

Now I am sure Evans wasn’t about to come out and tell us about his death scene, but it adds another log to the rumor fire, and that fire is burning bright giving us hints that Captain America will make the ultimate sacrifice in this movie. Actually, at this point I would absolutely love it if the Russo’s and everyone else is messing with us and Cap doesn’t die or end his story at all in this movie. Alas Cap fans, this does not seem too likely.
What do you think of Evans comments, is Cap going to meet his maker or will he survive the Endgame? Share your ideas and theories in the usual spot below.
