Watch A Bitter George Lucas React To Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker Trailer With New Deepfake Parody

Deepfakes, the technology that will likely be at least partly responsible for the fall of society as we know it. However, today it’s being used for good, or better yet, for fun as we have Star Wars creator George Lucas bitterly watching the trailer for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

Considering my overall opinion on Disney’s sequel trilogy, I find this video hilarious especially fake George’s comment, “This makes Attack of the Clones look like Citizen Kane.” You can check out the video for that comment and many more gems from not Mr. Lucas down below!.

While the video takes some good shots at Disney’s past killing trilogy, it also gets in some good jabs at the prequel trilogy. I still can’t decide how the trailer makes me feel, I have a lot of back and forth going on. While there are lots of great shots, and it’s very cinematic, overall it still feels kind of empty. That may be a good thing because the previous two films have sort of been the opposite for me, they had trailers that made me really excited for the films, and for the most part I was left disappointed overall.
