Welcome To Social Distancing Via Your Local AMC Theater

Theater

I don’t know about you, but I love the movie theater experience. Granted, I don’t go and see as many comedies or drama’s there anymore, the costs are ridiculous including a babysitter, but I love spectacle films like those the MCU produces. There have always been stereotypes about theaters and cleanliness, sticky floors, and the incredibly rude people that leave their trash despite the fact THEY WILL PASS A TRASH CAN ON THE WAY OUT!!! However, with the outbreak of Coronavirus, some theaters are taking their hygiene a little more seriously.

AMC Theaters is capping its ticket sales to 50% to allow more space between the audience members. This is supposed to make us feel safer during this time of Coronavirus freakouts. The virus is spreadable before you show symptoms, so there is reason to be cautious. However, every doctor on cable and network news is telling us simple things like washing our hands, not touching our faces, and covering our face when coughing or sneezing will go far in limiting the spread of the virus.

Do you think AMC’s example is a good one to follow? Does it make you feel safer to go to the movies? Let us know in the comments below!
