Wes Chatham and Nadine Nicole on Last Ride in the Rocinante in Amazon’s The Expanse Final Season [Exclusive Interview]

Nadine Nicole and Wes Chatham in The Expanse

For Wes Chatham, it was a welcome return aboard the Rocinante for the final season of Amazon’s The Expanse. And for Nadine Nicole, she became the newest crewmember or rather reluctantly.

Here is the official synopsis:

The sixth and final season of The Expanse picks up with the solar system at war, as Marco Inaros and his Free Navy continue to launch devastating asteroid attacks on Earth and Mars. As the tensions of war and shared loss threaten to pull the crew of the Rocinante apart, Christjen Avasarala makes a bold move and sends former Martian Marine Bobbie Draper on a secret mission that could turn the tide of the conflict. Meanwhile, in the Belt, Drummer and what’s left of her family are on the run after betraying Marco. And on a distant planet beyond the Rigs, a new power begins to rise.

The series stars Steven Strait, Dominique Tipper, Wes Chatham, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Cara Gee, Frankie Adams, Keon Alexander, Nadine Nicole, and Jasai Chase Owens. Naren Shankar is the showrunner for the series based on the science fiction novels by James S.A. Corey.

Wes Chatham joined the U.S. Navy after graduating from high school. His ship was chosen to shoot the movie Antwone Fisher, in which he was selected to be a part of the cast of military personnel. After that moment, he was cast in his first series regular role in Showtime’s Barbershop. Then he got parts in films such as In the Valley of Elah, Oliver Stone’s W, The Help, and Husk. Also, he landed a regular series role in CBS’s The Unit. He played Amos Burton on The Expanse since 2015.

Nadine Nicole is best known for playing Van in the horror series Dante’s Cove. From 2014 to 2016, she played Gwen on the CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless. In 2014, she starred as commitment-phobe travel writer Julia in the indie film Lonely Planet. Also, she had parts in the series for Hulu’s Casual and NBC’s The Village.
