According to the latest Barside Buzz The Wheel of Time S3 is to premiere in March, plus we have some casting rumors to pick up also. The release date information comes from a usual source on this, WoT Up!. The YouTube channel has been the one promoting the theory that the show could release as early as Spring. Well, now the host says he has a concrete date. Sadly, he’s been asked not to share that exact date, which he has confirmed with independent sources. However, he would say it’s a date in March. That’s even earlier than I think I imagined.
We also have some news (discussed in video) from lead star Josh Stradowski who recently commented that he was in London to do press for Wheel of Time S3. Given there is no press coverage released we know of, it seems likely it’s being done now for release in a few weeks time. I’ll guess some of the trades have gotten some access to the cast and articles/coverage will release sooner rather than later. It’s also possible we could even get a teaser sometime before Christmas/New Year if the show is launching March.

It does seem as though Season 3 will be make or break for this show. You can check out the full video below. However, the host also spoke about marketing on this show and he and I are in complete agreement.
Namely that it has been awful. The fact the show has done as well as it has is almost a mystery because the marketing since Season 1 was ghastly. Season 2 was arguably even worse. Well, the channel has heard from sources that the marketing team has been rebooted for Season 3. Sadly, he’s heard there’s no extra money as expected. However, the new team are determined to do a better job. If they get Season 3 right, the shows popularity could open up. After a weird start, we are now at the point the book series starts to get very good.
Lastly, we have some news from another good leaks site for this show. WoT Series has information about two new cast members for Season 3. Character identities are only speculative so far. If you want to see what the outlet thinks feel free to check the link at the names below. However, speculation only it remains. Ann Ogbomo and Cameron Jack have both apparently been filming roles for Season 3. However, I’ll leave the speculation to the sources here. There are no obvious answers, so best to wait and see.
