Amazon’s Wheel of Time teaser will release later today confirms star Rosamund Pike. November will see the debut of Wheel of Time on Amazon and as well as the promise of a trailer we also have a new image to gaze at. First of all check out the teaser trailer…. teaser from Pike below.

I’m guessing that Pike is playing this ‘in character’ a little and perhaps that gives us a glimpse of how the show will handle Aes Sedai characters like Moiraine? I must say that Pike does have that ageless look, not young, not old, which is perfect for a seasoned Aes Sedai. The image below has also been released and I assume this is Pike’s character Moiraine standing in the Tower of Tar Valon, the home of all Aes Sedai. Check it out.

I cannot wait for Wheel of Time, just to see how the world has been imagined by others. Last night I finished book 13 of 14 in the series, so I have just the one to go. I will have likely finished that in a week or so at most. Therefore, my attempt to read the entire series between the announcement of the show and the release, has been successful.

We will publish the trailer later today when it hits. However we are warned to expect just a teaser, not a full trailer for now. Still, it will be good to get a proper look at the how finally. I can’t wait and yet I do worry because the first book, which will form most of the first Season we think, was in my opinion the weakest in the entire series. For some reason I struggled to care about the characters and it all felt a little tropey for me. That was then, it gets so much better as it goes along. Right now, with just the ending to go, I rate this as one of the best book series I have ever read.
Let’s hope the show gets a big enough audience and is good enough to see the entire story completed. Light willing, or burn me to ashes I’ll be disgruntled and pull on my braid.
