Who Bought Stark Tower? Certain Candidates Ruled Out In Latest Barside Buzz

According to the latest Barside Buzz, Mephisto is the rumored new owner of Avengers Tower in the MCU.

One question fans have been asking for a long time is, who bought Stark Tower, sometimes called Avengers Tower? Well this article won’t give you an answer to that question, however one insider has this weekend taken to social media to rule several candidates out.

First up, the one everyone was talking about since the Fox merger went through, the Fantastic Four. It would be cool if that became the Baxter Building in the MCU. However, according to Alex from TCC, an outlet with a very good it rate for scoops, this is not the case. Check it out.

So when some fans tried to pry into more details, none were given when it comes to hints. This leaker did however rule out two more candidates who won’t be taking over Star Tower. Alex says that it will not be Oscorp, as for now they still don’t exist within the MCU. Though, he does also hint that situation could change in the future.

Lastly, another candidate who in the comics lived in a big tower in NYC. Alex says it’s also not Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin.

So who does that leave us with then? Erm, I dunno. Is it possible it was just to sold to Rando Calrissian and will never be seen again? Outside of that I saw some fans speculate on Qeng, one of Kang’s many variants. I guess that is possible and might fit into where this Phase 5 is going? Then again, maybe not. I kind wish instead of ruling people out, Alex just said, here is who I have heard bought Star Tower. It would be a far easier headline to wrote as well, but hey, Maybe his source won’t let him reveal it yet? It happens.

I honestly think Marvel may have missed a trick by not having this turned into the Baxter Science building or something, and the Fan Four rent a whole section of it like in the comics. I guess there may be some fans who would prefer a more comic book accurate depiction of the Baxter Building and I can get that. I guess we will just have to wait and see?

What do you think, who bought Stark Tower? As always leave any thoughts you have in the usual spot below.
