Not long ago fans learned that actor Zachary Levi was chosen to play the part of boy superhero, Shazam. One of the better-accepted casting decisions by DC as of late, Levi seems to have a lot of enthusiasm for the character.
The actor recently spoke with Entertainment Tonight and when asked what other DC superheroes he would like to appear in his upcoming film, Levi really only had one hero in mind:
“Wonder Woman, because she’s awesome. I think getting a cameo from anybody would be super cool, but I just think Gal Gadot is so effervescent. She has such a charm. And she seems like a really cool broad. Like, she was in the Israeli army. She’s a mom. And I’m like, ‘You seem like you’re grounded and cool, and you’re Wonder Woman, and you rock. And I think it would be really funny to have the 14-year-old Billy Batson inside of Shazam that’s really awkward around this beautiful Amazonian. I just think that would be really awesome.”

It is hard to argue Levi’s top choice, seeing how Gadot had the most successful and universally liked DC film, not to mention she seems to be an absolute delight to be around. And Levi is correct, should Wonder Woman appear in Shazam, there is potential for some very awkward, yet comedic moments.
Shazam hits theaters April 5, 2019.
