SUICIDE SQUAD is shaping up to be quite the crowded flick. Sure, the entire premise revolves around a band of supervillains, so a large number of characters was inevitable, but with the addition of Joker and Batman, it really seems to be cranking it up to 11.

Well, clear the deck, because if a bit of speculation from Comic Book Movie is to be believed, it sounds like Ezra Miller’s Flash is set to make a cameo appearance in the DC flick. This rumor is by no means new, but with the recent release of the JUSTICE LEAGUE trailer, the outlet placed a few clips together, and it seems to give the rumor a bit more more credence.

If you’ll recall from the JUSTICE LEAGUE Comic-Con footage, it appears that whenever using his speed abilities, the room is enveloped in sparks and lightning strikes. You can check out examples of that directly below.

Now, if you look at a couple of screen grabs from the new SUICIDE SQUAD Comic-Con Soundtrack Remix, you’ll see a Captain Boomerang get launched back by what looks like a whole lot of electricity. Could this be the Flash interfering with Task Force X?

While it certainly seems possible, it’s impossible to jump to conclusions given this little bit of information. Also prevalent throughout this trailer is a giant pillar of electricity that seems to be the centerpiece of the entire premise. For all we know it’s something related to with that pillar — and not Flash — that’s throwing Boomerang back.

What do you think? Will the Flash make an appearance in SUICIDE SQUAD? Let us know your thoughts down below!

SUICIDE SQUAD hits theaters on August 5, 2016.
