Wonder Woman Sports Gold Outfit In New Color-Laden Poster

You remember Wonder Woman, right? It’s credited with being the DC Extended Universe’s first universally-praised movie, helping formulate the strategy for the franchise going forward. Its sequel, Wonder Woman 1984, first had scenes hit during last year’s San Diego Comic-Con…but it’s still a year away from hitting theaters. So surely, the studio wouldn’t have made pains to push out any marketing yet, right?

Wrong! Because we only have 366 days until the film hits (next year is a leap year), Patty Jenkins decided to throw a neon-laden party on her Twitter account by releasing another look at Wonder Woman 1984 star Gal Gadot donning some loud, golden armor for us to gander at.

Holy hell, that’s one crazy poster! I’m honestly not entirely sure whether or not I like it myself, but it definitely grabs one’s attention. It has some nice “W” motifs going on with those colors, and at the center, we have a brand-new outfit for the character.

Fans of the comics will recognize it as the Golden Eagle armor. Could this be indicative of where this story could lead? Let us know your thoughts down below, as I’m sure you all have plenty of theories as to why she’s dressed this way. Either way, the countdown begins!
