Yesterday, the official X-Men: Dark Phoenix trailer was leaked. Well, kinda. In reality, it was just the visuals…and those visuals were captured by a camera on some dude’s lap who was sitting behind another row of chairs. Pretty much, the quality was garbage, and if you actually wanted to see and appreciate some real details regarding the film, you should probably have steered clear.

Regardless of whether or not you saw it, though, it’s now set to be released very soon — tonight actually! The official X-Men Twitter account just posted a new tease for the film, which you can take a look at down below.

The tease is made up of a motion image featuring the titular Dark Phoenix (aka Jean Grey, played by Sophie Turner). A flaming “X” is plastered behind her, and over plays some dialogue from the film, ending with what sounds like Magneto (though I could be wrong) saying, “I’ve seen evil and I’m looking at it now.”

As we saw in the leaked trailer yesterday, the title of the film looks like it won’t actually be X-Men: Dark Phoenix, but rather just Dark Phoenix, with the “X” made to resemble the X-Men logo. I kind of appreciate that, as it seems to indicate they have faith enough in the project not to wholly rely on the branding.

What do you think of the first teaser? Let us know down below!
