Today Xbox and Bethesda announce a Summer showcase event. The event will promote upcoming games from both the Xbox brand and Bethesda, who were recently bought over by Microsoft for the Xbox brand. The Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase, is set to take place on Sunday, June 12. The event will be streamed across all major streaming platforms and will start at 1:00pm ET/10:00am PT/6:00pm GMT. It will also be streamed in 30 different languages.
“This show will feature amazing titles coming from Xbox Game Studios, Bethesda, and our partners around the world. The Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase will include everything you need to know about the diverse lineup of games coming soon to the Xbox ecosystem, including upcoming releases to Game Pass on Xbox and PC.”

At this time we obviously have no idea specifically which games we may get to see from Xbox game studios including Bethesda. One good bet is Bethesda’s upcoming Starfield game. It looks like Starfield is the most completed of all the games Bethesda is working on and the hype for the game is very real. As for the other Xbox studios who knows. One game I am keen to find out more about is the next edition of Forza Motorsport. We’ve had plenty of Forza Horizon games recently, but no Forza Motorsport for some years. Those were always my favorite racing games and we haven’t had a new one since the Xbox One first launched years ago.

As an Xbox Game Pass subscriber, I’ll be tuning in to see if anything pique’s my interest. Though I have to say the most recent Showcase events we have seen have been a little underwhelming to me. Too many announcements and not enough game play. Perhaps this one will be different?
