The Late Late Show with James Corden is always a great show to have on if your up… well late. Offering many different celebrity guests that participate with him in a variety of skits and interviews. This week was no different as he was joined by the star of New Line/Warner Bros. Pictures’ SHAZAM!, Zachary Levi. Which by the time this article is up will be officially playing in theaters everywhere.

In this skit, Levi meets with Corden as they try to figure out the one genre Corden has not conquered yet: superheroes. Levi gives Corden access to the same power that turned him into a superhero Shazam and sure it gives him an instant Shazam suit, his powers are undetermined. Check it out in the clip above!

As you can see, Corden can’t fly, he doesn’t have super strength, super speed, x-ray vision or laser eyes. His ability is to grow and un-grow a goatee. This of course bums out Corden who leaves Levi to sulk on his own. As he contemplates his underwhelming powers, he manages to distract a crook long enough for Levi to apprehend the criminal. Corden leaves very excited only to find out that Levi had staged the whole thing. It’s a pretty funny clip.

In case you have not seen it yet, here is a synopsis for SHAZAM!
We all have a superhero inside of us — it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In 14-year-old Billy Batson’s case, all he needs to do is shout out one word to transform into the adult superhero Shazam. Still a kid at heart, Shazam revels in the new version of himself by doing what any other teen would do — have fun while testing out his newfound powers. But he’ll need to master them quickly before the evil Dr. Thaddeus Sivana can get his hands on Shazam’s magical abilities.
