Zack Snyder Planned To Have Lois And Superman’s Son Become The Next Batman

If you’ve watched Zack Snyder’s Justice League, you likely remember a scene that shows a pregnancy test in the drawer of Lois Lane’s nightstand. Is there a baby Kryptonian on the way?

Indeed there is as director Zack Snyder recently spoke with Esquire and confirmed that, yes, Lois is pregnant, and the plans Snyder had for Lois and Clark’s son are really groovy man, it’s like totally far out. Seriously though, to have seen this story play out over a few films would have been awesome (of course depending on the execution)  You can check out what he said below.

“She’s definitely pregnant. Yeah. You see, I always wanted Barbara Gordon to come in the movies. Commissioner Gordon would be on the way out, and we’d have Barbara starting to play a bigger role. My idea was that after Batman sacrificed himself, there would be a window where there was no Batman, and I thought Barbara could fill that until the child of Superman and Lois, who has no powers, would become Batman when he was of age.”

I enjoyed the DCEU. I thought they were all cast really well. I just wish the universe would be built over time like Marvel’s, instead of basically thrown together. The DCEU was a beautiful facade but had no foundation.

While I am yet to watch Zack Snyder’s Justice League, I do want to. I haven’t decided if I’m going to watch it in one sitting or split it up into parts. From what I’ve seen around the internet people either love the film or it left them with the same opinion they had of the 2017 film.

What do you think of Snyder’s Batman idea? Let us know in the comments down below!
