Zack Snyder Posts A Cryptic Image of Darkseid

Once upon a time filmmaker Zack Snyder had a very specific vision for the DCEU. It started with Man of Steel in 2013, them continued with Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman and ending with Justice League, which as we know was butchered by Warner Bros. Studios. He also must have had some input with Aquaman as he did release the first image of Jason Momoa as the King of Atlantis with the caption “UNITE THE SEVEN”.

Now like clockwork every few weeks via his social media account on Vero, he releases bits and pieces of information about what his DCEU vision was going to look like. For example, that Justice League was supposed to be a two part film that was going to feature the death of Ben Affleck’s Batman. Also that he had big plans for Ray Fisher’s Cyborg. Recently he had confirmed that a scene cut from Justice League in the end had the team looking into a Boom Tube which could have meant the arrival of the big bad of the DCEU Darkseid.

Speaking of the New God, this is Snyder’s latest nugget via Twitter account @kryptonscodex that shows an image posted on his Vero account. Check it out below:

Snyder’s vision of the Justice League was supposed to feature the arrival of one of the most powerful beings of the DC Universe. But as we know that did not happen, instead we got his general Steppenwolfe, who we recently also found out was originally supposed to be the villain in Suicide Squad. But now the question is what is Synder’s endgame by sharing all these details about his DCEU? Also is he just trolling fans with the cryptic caption “A bell can’t be unrung”? Or is there something that he knows about that he or the studios is working on? Of course it’s a long shot but as a fan of the characters in the DC Universe I cannot help but hope to see this great character in a film.
