Not this Sunday, but next Sunday, the wait will be over. The eighth and final season of HBO’s superb series, Game of Thrones, will premiere. After a long wait, fans will get to return to Westeros one last time (yeah, I know about the prequel, but).

The pieces on the board are set, everything is set for the final showdown, while the show started out with a question of who will sit on the Iron Throne, the bigger question now looms of who wil survive, if anyone at all.

There is no piece of media content for which I am more excited about than the upcoming season of Game of Thrones, I say this being a big fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and and even bigger fan of Star Wars (I mean, Star Wars is, has been, and always will be my numero uno, except for this year)

It’s going to be like a dream, something like when I was sitting in the theater reading the crawl for The Force Awakens,”Is this really happening?”
