Empire has released its list of the 50 greatest movie heroes of all-time. Topping the list, much to the of Jammer and Kyle Malone is famed archaeologist, Indiana Jones. Yes, Indy tops the list and besides the aforementioned Jammer and Malone you’d likely be hard-pressed to find film lovers put up much of an argument.

Sigourney Weaver’s Ellen Ripley from the Alien Franchise ook the #2 spot on the list. You will be able to see the full list in the magazine which will be available this Thursday, June 11. Some other characters that made the list are Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow and Michael J. Fox’s Marty McFly at #23.

I love Indiana Jones, absolutely love the character. And yes, part of my love is for the actor that portrays him, Harrison Ford. Who is not only Empire’s #1 of the list of the 50 greatest heroes of all-time but the man is also Han Solo. Ford is two of the cinema’s most iconic characters ever.
