The two day DC FanDome event is officially over. The two-day event that took place in late August and yesterday gave us a look at everything DC has to offer. From film, television, comics, and video games. They also offered us a behind-the-scenes look at a lot of their work.
ALSO: JUSTICE LEAGUE: THE SNYDER CUT TRAILER IS HERE – AND THE STORY WILL BE DELIVERED IN FOUR PARTS
One of the films that were showcased was HBO Max’s Justice League. This is the famous Snyder Cut that a large group of fans championed for years. This after the disaster that was Joss Whedon’s theatrical version after Zack Snyder had to step down. We know that this four-part version of the film is going to be very different from the theatrical version. As re-shot Whedon scenes are being removed to bring Snyder’s original vision to life.
Even the score has to be changed. Originally Tom Holkenborg aka Junkie XL was the composer for the film. He had also worked with Hans Zimmer on the Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. But when Snyder left, he was replaced with Danny Elfman. Now with Snyder back, Junkie XL has also returned to do the score for Justice League.
Yesterday, as part of the DC FanDome event, he gave us a little preview of the work that he is doing for the film. He gives us a brief introduction as well as telling us all how excited he is to be back working on the film. You can check it out below!

It sounds epic and with the visuals that we are used to seeing from Snyder, they are going to complement each other well on screen. It is a bit of a shame that we aren’t going to be able to experience these elements in a theater setting. Or are we? Who knows, stranger things have happened. Like a studio bringing a film back for a directors cut years later.
