JB Smoove is back for Spider-Man: No Way Home. The actor who appeared as one 0f Peter’s teachers in a Homecoming commercial and Far From Home confirmed on a recent podcast appearance that he is also in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Smoove was a guest on The Daily Zeitgeist where he said this.
“I don’t know how many people have done it, but you know I’m in both universes,” Smoove started. “The Marvel Universe, and the DC Universe. Marvel universe with ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’, and I just did the new ‘Spider-Man’.”
Peter is still in school as far as we know, however what effect Beck’s big stinger at the end of Far From Home has on that fact is unknown. We do know that school scenes have been filmed for No Way Home and it’s likely this is where Smoove shows up. It’s hardly high on the casting wish list of many fans with so many rumored big roles still to be revealed. However, I enjoyed Smoove in Far From Home and I am pleased to see he will return. I’m guessing No Way Home will represent the end of Peter’s High School years. I like many other fans are now hoping for a college trilogy to come after this. Will we get our wish? That remains to be seen.

We also know there are court scenes in No Way Home. One intriguing fan theory is that Peter’s teachers will be used for his defense against the allegations made against him by Mysterio. All I can tell you for sure, is that there is a scene in court and a scene in a school, the rest is speculation.
