Criminal enterprises can thrive in large cities and many small towns in America. Even along the coast of Maine, Downeast is a crime drama about a man who is forced to support criminal activities while an old fling returns to his life seeking the murderer of her brother.
The film stars Greg Finley, Dylan Silver, Judson Mills, Joss Glennie-Smith, Gareth Williams, Kirk Fox, Joe Holt, and Dennis Cockrum. Joe Raffa directed the film from the story from Greg Finley.
Here’s the official synopsis:
Downeast dives into the often-ignored seedy underbelly of Maine, following Emma Maddox as she returns to her hometown, haunted by the mysterious death of her brother Mikey years ago. As she reconnects with his best friend Tommy, the two rekindle their flame and Emma begins to uncover the web of lies the town has been keeping. Will Emma get the closure she so desperately seeks, or fall victim to the town’s turbulent ways.
