Today’s Barside Buzz incudes Doomsday reshoots that may effect Secret Wars, Mark Ruffalo shooting a Hulk cameo and Ten Rings back in development. Let’s begin today with some news from the latest The Hot Mic and industry insider Jeff Sneider.
Sneider says he’s been told that Mark Ruffalo filmed a cameo scene as Hulk recently, here’s a transcript.
“Mark Ruffalo’s been busy filming season 2 of Task...but I heard he took a break over the weekend to film something else. One-day shoot, I was told. Now, I don’t know for sure what the movie was…don’t pick this up, internet. Don’t run this because I really don’t know…and I don’t know if the timeline makes sense to me. I was told that Mark Ruffalo filmed a scene for [MCU] X-Men [as Hulk] I would assume. Is X-Men already shooting? Is it–I’m not saying that production has started but the way these Marvel things go, if they can get an actor for a day, they’ll shoot it and they can be like ‘two movies down the line’–if they know they need this scene, they’ll get it done and then just sit on it.
I heard Mark Ruffalo shot a scene for X-Men. I don’t know what the context was, I don’t know if anybody else was in it. I also don’t know if my source was wrong and if it’s actually for Secret Wars or something like that, but that is [what I’m hearing], that Ruffalo has been shooting season 2 of Task and took a break in the last seven days at some point for a one-day shoot where he reprised the role of Bruce Banner.”

Is X-Men filming? No, but Sneider is right that this may not matter. Equally though, I would have thought most fans might assume this was part of the recent reshoots for Avengers: Doomsday.
Rumors from Daniel RPK on his Patreon are that Doomsday is filming reshoots which included some big cameos. Fans even think Jeremy Renner is teasing something online right now. That would be my guess, but I’m not Jeff Sneider and I have no sources, so don’t take my opinion for anything more than that.
Daniel also says that as Marvel works through reshoots there are changes being made to Secret Wars.
Some Secret Wars decisions are being locked because of what they’re seeing in the Doomsday reshoots.

Finally, that he’s also heard a Ten Rings project is in development. This was the case then it appeared to be shelved, so perhaps it’s still a TV series and now it’s back on?
