While I wouldn’t say he outright hates it, Harrison Ford has always had a love-hate relationship with Star Wars. Though it wouldn’t be the last franchise the actor would be known for, it did give Ford quite a boost in his career. Sure, he had some roles on TV, and in American Graffiti, but the role of Han Solo really put him on the map.

You couldn’t have a super nerdy conversation about Star Wars with Harrison Ford the same way you could with Mark Hamill who has shown much more affection for the franchise. During a recent interview with USA Today, Ford was asked his opinion on whether or not Han Solo appeared to Kylo Ren as a Force Ghost toward the end of The Rise of Skywalker. or just as a vision. “A Force ghost? I don’t know what a Force ghost is. Don’t tell anyone. I’m not talking loud enough for your recorder. I have no f**king idea what a Force ghost is. And I don’t care!”

Ha! Classic Harrison Ford on Star Wars right there. Whether he likes it or not, with Han Solo and Indiana Jones, Ford has two of the most ic0nic characters in cinema history. I mean, that’s a hard combo to beat right? Perhaps if Johnny Depp played a character on the level of Jack Sparrow, he might come close. I guess you could throw Sean Bean in there for Ned Stark and Boromir.

Actor Julian Glover plays three characters and while they’re not on the same level as Solo and Jones, their very memorable. He plays General Veers in The Empire Strikes Back Walter Donovan in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and Maester Pycelle on Game of Thrones. Oh, and Glover also voiced the spider Aragog in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

Ford’s comments on Force Ghost’s just make Jamie Acosta’s impression all the better. I’ve posted it below.
